Color and clarity: a note on shooting at night
Night shooting
Shooting photographs at night can be hard especially when light is low.It can be hard to capture color at night as well as to focus the image completely. One method for focusing at night is to open up the aperture and even over expose the image while finding your focus then stop back down once the image is focused.Another tip is to “zoom” all the way into the plane or object you want in focus, focus the image, and then “zoom” back out using the lens angle adjustments. In order to capture color at night you first need to make sure you have chosen a subject that can offer enough light, add light to the subject, or use a lens with a larger aperture. The subject I chose in my example photo gave me enough light and color for the image.Choosing an image with large fields of color like the faces of buildings and the large expanse of sky in my image will allow you to make a vibrant image that is rich with clarity and color.
You’re answer to “how is an ankle unlike a consequence” made me smile...as did your encouragement of vulgar insults in the 'about me' area ^-^ I wish you’d update—I rather enjoy your pictures and whatnot’s on your blog. -leslie
Hello fellow amateur filmmaker/photographers. I’m Dillon E. Glazebrook I am a twenty-one year old college student at UNM studying cinematic arts and psychology. I'm a filmmaker who takes amazing photographs on occasion. I am creating this blog to showcase my film and photography projects as well as give other amateur filmmaker/photographers an insight on my struggles and triumphs. I will be using this blog as a personal journal focusing on my projects. I am a story teller of raw life. I make a lot of mistakes but learn everything I can from my mistakes. I feel incredibly spoiled to be able to study film in college and intend to make something grand of this position.
I am currently residing in Albuquerque, New Mexico which is my hometown. I have been taking photographs and making films since childhood. My audience's reactions are what I love. I have worked on a large range of film genres and have created many advanced photo and film projects.
Thank you for reading and please leave me some comments. I would love your feedback, encouragement, constructive criticism, and even vulgar insults.
